VISION

YAMOG envisions a self sustaining rural communities in Mindanao where men, women and youth are capable of utilizing and effectively managing renewable energy source that would serve as vehicle towards sustainable community development. The members of these communities will have means to adequately meet their basic needs while not jeopardizing the capability of future generations to meet theirs, will have the confidence in their collective capacity to chart their own future; will live in unity and harmony with the natural environment.

MISSION

• Raise community awareness on the vast development potentials of proper utilization of water resources, management of renewable energy systems and natural resource management.
• Initiate capability building activities to strengthen community-based people’s organizations that would manage and sustain renewable energy community development projects.
• Establish renewable energy system in rural communities and transfer the technology to local peoples' organization.

GOALS

• Contribute to the improvement of the quality of life to people living in rural and off-grid communities in Mindanao.
• To ensure sustainable management of Micro Hydro Power (MHP) and Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) and other renewable energy sources in rural and off-grid areas.
• To enhance renewable energy awareness in Mindanao as a strategy towards community sustainable development.
• To enhance environmental protection in Mindanao.
