U.S. Green Building Council

The U.S. Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation. 

Our more than 16,000 member companies represent every sector of the industry, from small mom-and-pop firms to multinational Fortune 500 companies. As such, LEED and the related programs that our membership drives through a consensus-based process represent the technical rigor that raises the bar on the buildings industry while also remaining attainable, accessible and affordable to achieve.
