
Enda is involved with grassroots groups, from their experience and according to their objectives in research and implementation of a Lamis alternative development.This engagement with the poorest results in:

presence at all levels of action and decision making · the development of reproducible steps, joining action, research, training and communication ·

involvement of intellectuals and cadres in the definition and implementation of a development for the greatest number of the poorest and ·
- the fight against poverty , which is the main line of action of enda · involvement in international debates to hear and accept the positions of the Third World.
What policy?
To act, enda is based primarily on the initiatives and popular means of action:
-
individual and collective initiatives (including the inhabitants of the districts which, compared to a one-time problem or issue, rally)
-
grassroots groups and associative movement (rural and urban associations involving youth, women, people of the same locality, professionals, consumers, local or national federations ...),
- achievements, with the grassroots, infrastructure popular socio-economic, health and social services, ...
In general, enda seeks to enhance the knowledge and instruments of local development, both in hardware than in ideas. This is to identify and support grassroots initiatives promising development - especially in terms of organizations.The support community groups requires, in addition:

the collaboration of many institutions and governments in the Third World;

the personal commitment of volunteers from the South and some countries;
-
facilities granted by the Third World states and, first, by Senegal;
- external support : United Nations, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the community sector to ensure the independence enda, France, Belgium, Canada, the European Union (whose contribution is progressing), Finland, Italy and Sweden have made or are supporting.
