In general, enda seeks to enhance the knowledge and instruments of local development, both in hardware than in ideas. This is to identify and support grassroots initiatives promising development - especially in terms of organizations.The support community groups requires, in addition:

• the collaboration of many institutions and governments in the Third World;

• the personal commitment of volunteers from the South and some countries;
   
• facilities granted by the Third World states and, first, by Senegal;
   
• external support : United Nations, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the community sector to ensure the independence enda, France, Belgium, Canada, the European Union (whose contribution is progressing), Finland, Italy and Sweden have made ​​or are supporting.
