Southern Capacity Building Program Fellow (2011)-China
Lina is currently working as consultant for Shanshui Conservation Center and Ecofys and she is a board member of China Youth Climate Action Network.
She has participated in UNFCCC conferences since 2009 –worked as the policy team leader for China Youth Delegation (CYD) for COP 15 and the chief delegate for CYD for COP 16. Building on her four years’ undergraduate study of diplomacy and two years’ master study of international politics focusing on climate, she devoted herself to tracking the negotiation and building policy knowledge.
Her focus has switched from youth to mature civil society engagement in international climate change issues since the end of last year by working with Shanshui, CCAN and the Chinese climate community. She is working with Xiaojing Fei, with IED, to facilitate the capacity building scheme of the policy team for CCAN, an internal study group for Chinese environmental NGOs.
