A wide variety of NGOs are involved in preparations for a demonstration on November 11th, the Saturday midway through the Climate Talks which will be taking place at the UNEP building just outside the city.

5,000 people are expected to participate in a procession on November 11th. 1,000 T-shirts have been printed. Posters and Banners are ready.Professor Wangari Mathai has accepted to give a key note speech.

The order of the events for the day is as follows :

• 8.00–8.30am: Participants assemble for the march at Central Park, next to Uhuru Park. Presentations from invited groups
  
• 8.30–9.00am: Prayers, Songs, Short speeches and instructions from the organisers. 9.15am: Procession begins.
• 9.15–10.00am: Procession march through designated routes ( Nyerere Road, University Way, Moi Avenue, Kenyatta Avenue, Uhuru Highway then Assemble at Uhuru Park), including going past the Intercontinental Hotel where US delegates will be staying,.
  
• 10.00am: Participants gather at Uhuru Park.
  
• 10.00am–12.00 Noon: Speeches from invited guests. Presentations from invited groups.
  
• 01.00pm: Vote of thanks, prayers, and Bon Voyage. There will also be a small demonstration at the UN campus, at Kikiri.
