The thirteenth session of the AWG-KP and the eleventh session of the AWG-LCA took place from Monday, 2 August to Friday, 6 August 2010 at the Hotel Maritim in Bonn.
CAN-International, in partnership with WWF, Greenpeace and Presencia Ciudadana, and with support from the Danish 92 Group and the Heinrich Boell Foundation, hosts a preparatory meeting with developing country CAN members and partners ahead of COP16 in Cancun.
From 23 - 25 September 2010 in Managua, the Climate Action Network - Latin America (CANLA) is holding a workshop and general assembly.
At the workshop, participants will share information and experiences regarding climate change ranging from the science to the international political situation. In addition, CANLA will hold a general assembly in which CANLA members will be discussing governance and activities of CANLA to ensure they are organized ahead of COP16 in Mexico and beyond.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November to 10 December 2010, encompasses the sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP) and the sixth Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP), as well as the thirty-third sessions of both the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), and the fifteenth session of the AWG-KP and thirteenth session of the AWG-LCA.
