Managua, Nicaragua - Centro Humboldt, in coordination with CAN Latin America and Suswatch, is hosting a capacity building and experience sharing from 23 - 24 September in Managua. Participants from the majority of countries in Latin America are gathered in Managua to prepare for COP16, which will be held in Mexico in December, and for joint advocacy efforts in the Latin America region throughout the coming years.
In addition, on 25 September, members of CAN Latin America will be holding an official General Assembly, intending to discuss and make decisions on various CANLA governance and logistical issues.

A presenter speaks about the international climate negotiations
From 23 - 25 September 2010 in Managua, the Climate Action Network - Latin America (CANLA) is holding a workshop and general assembly.
At the workshop, participants will share information and experiences regarding climate change ranging from the science to the international political situation. In addition, CANLA will hold a general assembly in which CANLA members will be discussing governance and activities of CANLA to ensure they are organized ahead of COP16 in Mexico and beyond.
